The Core Curriculum
All classes are 2-3 hours long, and staffed by a live teacher. Each class starts with an hour-long step-by-step demo students can choose to follow designed to teach specific skills. This lesson is optional, you can also work on your own project and the teacher will help you during class. Classes are held on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and are geared towards all experience levels.
Art demos are divided up by materials and/or subject and taught at the same time each year. You can view the weekly class schedule here
January - Acrylic Painting
February-March - Oil painting (or stay with acrylic)
April-May - Watercolor painting
June-July - Figure Drawing (pencil, charcoal and ink)
August - Portraiture (pencil, charcoal and ink)
September - Perspective and Shading (pencil, charcoal and ink)

We also offer an intermediate-advanced class on Tuesdays, in which the demos will alternate between pastels, watercolors or oil paintings, and a kids art class on Saturdays.
